COST
SESSION FEES
Tuggeranong Link is the community organisation which runs the Playschools.
We are a not-for-profit organisation, funded by revenue from Playschool fees
and from hire fees for our venues. We receive very limited Government
assistance. Revenue from Playschool fees is used to cover resources and
teaching costs. Our current fees are as follows:
·
Term 2 2011 fees are $8.00 per hour
(total of $24.00 for a three hour session or $32.00 for a four hour
session).
·
Terms 3 and 4 2011 fees are $9.00 per hour
(total of $27.00 for a three hour session or $36.00 for a four hour
session).
HOW TO PAY
Fees are charged on a per term basis, except where you enrol part-way
through a term (in which case you are charged for the weeks remaining in
that term). You must pay for the sessions in which your child is enrolled
regardless of actual attendance. Please see our refund
policy
below.
Fees are usually due within the first three weeks of term, and we will issue
you with an invoice which includes information on methods of payment. Fees
can be paid in full for the term, or by instalments. Instalments can be paid
on a fortnightly basis via direct debit by completing an instalment
agreement form. If you wish to pay by this method, please complete the form
and return it to the House Manager or Playschool staff.
OTHER FEES
In addition to session fees, the following are payable:
Enrolment fee
An enrolment fee of $30 is payable when you enrol. This payment secures your
place in the program or on the waiting list. After your enrolment has been
confirmed, $15 of the enrolment fee will be used to pay the insurance levy
(see below).
Insurance levy
An annual insurance levy of $15 is payable. As stated above, the insurance
levy is covered by the $30 enrolment fee paid at the time of enrolment.
Late pick-up fees
Parents/carers must notify staff if they are going to be late collecting
their child. If the child remains at the Playschool for more than 15 minutes
after the conclusion of the session and staff are unable to contact you,
staff will contact the person nominated by you to collect your child. If you
are late picking up your child you will be charged at the rate of $10 per 15
minutes.
Late payment fees
Tuggeranong Link acknowledges that families at times may face financial
difficulties. In these
instances it is important that you discuss this with the House Manger as
soon as possible so that a suitable payment instalment plan may be set up
for you. If however you do not advise us, a late fee at a rate of $20.00
applies for each week overdue.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds are not provided if a child misses a session in which they were
enrolled (eg. due to illness). Missed sessions cannot be made up due to
restrictions in child numbers per class.
Families who are to be away for an extended period but wish to reserve a
place in their absence, must continue to pay fees whilst they are away in
order to do so. A minimum of two weeks notice is required if you intend to
withdraw from the program.
If your child is not attending Playschool on any day, please notify the
staff. If a child fails to attend a session on three consecutive occasions
without notification to the Playschool, the Playschool has the authority to
cancel the child’s place in the program. The Playschool will write to your
last known address to inform you of this action. Any fees outstanding will
be pursued.

when you submit your CCB form at the end of each term. It is advisable to
retain all your fee receipts.
